Journalist, author and director, she is specialized in urban cultures in France and abroad. With a 20 years in the field experience, she is one of the field pioneer.

Sheyen is the author of the first book about hip-hop dance in 2008 “Hip Hop, l’histoire de la danse” introduced by the famous rapper Joeystarr. She worked for 5 years with Canal + with her TV show Urban Backstage. Behind the scenes of urban cultures, Sheyen writes regularly in the 20 minutes french newspaper.

She is also journalist / director of the ARTE Tracks TV show on underground culture. Animator of debates and conferences on this culture, she works for the writing of a freerun documentary.
